Tales of the Sith: Season 1 Finale

Updated: Mar 15, 2020

From the moment I conceived the idea of 'bridging-the-gap' between The Old Republic and Return of the Jedi for Wrath of the Empire in an online lore series, I envisioned a universe much darker and more sinister than the current one we are familiar with in the sequel trilogy. My vision for this originates with my story in The Dark Resurgence that I wrote back in late 2015 and early 2016. I wanted the freedom to usher in new villains, species, and locations while avoiding the canon/non-canon controversy. And so...I set up a premise similar to Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse, Back To The Future II, and Avengers: Endgame with a parallel timeline.

As you may have seen in Season 1, the story of Darth Xenokis and his warriors expand the Sith narrative beyond what was previously believed to have happened. This slight deviation from the canon narrative will change the course of the entire Star Wars timeline later on. I won't reveal any spoilers (I like surprises)...but season 2 will shake you.

I've thoroughly enjoyed writing each and every episode and am now mapping out season 2 to make it bigger and better than season 1. Since I've covered the general timeline of how The Old Republic fits in with this alternate timeline, I will delve into character-driven stories that will follow a fairly linear narrative in season 2.

With that being said, most of the content from here on out will be completely original with new characters, locations, and artwork. I plan to up the quality of this next season to be similar to an animated graphic novel but am currently in production on another comic book. Most likely, I'll have to finish the comic book before I can release Season 2 in its entirety.

So that is what's happening next in Tales of the Sith, but I want to hear your thoughts! Would you like to see season 2 as an original animated graphic novel or keep the style the same? The first choice would definitely enhance the visual aspect of storytelling since there are only so many Old Republic trailer clips I can pull from. Let me know what you think in the comments!
